Contemporary British Printmakers

Contemporary British Printmakers

Following its debut success in 2024, Contemporary British Printmakers returns to Delamore Arts in 2025, curated by Artizan Collective. This captivating exhibition celebrates the richness and diversity of printmaking, showcasing the unique artistry behind techniques such as woodcuts, etchings, lithography, monotypes, and more.

Printmaking has been central to artistic evolution for centuries, growing from its origins as a practical tool for image reproduction into a vital creative medium. Its techniques span a thousand years of development, bridging traditional craft with modern innovation. This year’s exhibition highlights an inspiring array of works from some of the UK’s finest printmakers, inviting audiences to explore the narrative, texture, and collectability that define this art form.

The magic of printmaking lies in its transformative process, where the plate or matrix serves as a liminal space, holding the work until it’s revealed in the final print. With pieces that balance traditional mastery and contemporary experimentation, the exhibition offers visitors a journey through the ever-evolving possibilities of print.

The Kiln Room

The Kiln Room

Artizan Collective is delighted to introduce The Kiln Room at Delamore Arts 2025, a new exhibition celebrating the dynamic possibilities of ceramics. Complementing the wider sculpture programme, this carefully curated showcase highlights functional and decorative ceramics, pots, vessels, and sculptural works in clay, along with a selection of supporting wall pieces.

Ceramics has long been a medium where art meets utility, and The Kiln Room explores the intersection of tradition and innovation within this practice. From wheel-thrown and hand-built forms to experimental glazes and textures, the exhibition presents a diverse array of works that demonstrate the tactile beauty and narrative depth of clay. Each piece reflects the unique dialogue between artist and material, capturing moments of transformation that occur within the kiln.

As a medium steeped in history, ceramics is inherently tied to human culture, yet it continues to evolve with new techniques and bold ideas. The Kiln Room offers a glimpse into this progression, showcasing works that range from the deeply traditional to the strikingly contemporary.

This new addition to Artizan Collective’s programme at Delamore Arts underscores our commitment to fostering creative excellence and presenting engaging, meaningful exhibitions. We invite visitors to immerse themselves in the textures, forms, and stories of The Kiln Room, celebrating the enduring allure of ceramics as both craft and art.
