The Artist - Emma Wright
My background is in textiles giving me a love of mixed media, texture, colour and mark making. I taught Art, Graphics and Photography, recently focussing on my own work.I am inspired by the Devon landscape, my work starting from observation but changing through the effect of layers, textures and colours to create a feeling of place. Using varied media, from acrylic on canvas to Lino print, etching and collage ,exploring mood, light and atmosphere. I have exhibited at Delamore Arts, Birdwood House, Aga Kubish Gallery, Green Hill Arts, Bovey Paradiso, as well as Bens farm shop Yealmpton, Wills cafe Ashburton and a variety of pop ups.
